I am delighted to have known Nigel for a decade or more. It was always a pleasure to encounter Nigel whenever he dropped by at his daughter's and son-in-law's home or business. I know that after retirement he was a source of endless help and encouragement to them and their business. And his family tell me how Sam Beare gave him immense care and kindness in his final days.
